These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of mavenmoving.ca and to the moving and related services provided by Maven Moving Inc. ("Maven Moving", "we", "us" or "our"). By using our website, requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Quotes and Estimates

Quotes and estimates provided online, by phone or by message are based on the information you give us. The final price may change if the move details differ, for example the volume of items, access conditions, stairs, elevators, parking, wait times or additional services requested on moving day.

2. Bookings, Deposits and Payment

A booking is confirmed once we confirm it with you, and a deposit may be required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due as stated in your quote or invoice. Payments made online are processed by our third-party payment provider.

3. Changes and Cancellations

Please contact us as early as possible to reschedule or cancel. Cancellation and deposit terms will be confirmed with your booking.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your move, items and addresses.
  • Make sure items are packed and ready unless packing services are booked.
  • Arrange parking, elevator bookings and building access where needed.
  • Keep valuables, cash, jewellery, important documents and hazardous materials with you; we do not transport hazardous or illegal items.

5. Liability and Claims

We take care in handling your belongings. Any loss or damage must be reported to us as soon as possible and no later than the timeframe stated in your booking confirmation. Our liability is limited as set out in your booking documents and as permitted by applicable law.

6. SMS Text Messaging Terms

By checking the SMS consent box on our website or otherwise opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Maven Moving Inc. at the phone number you provided about your quote, booking, move scheduling, reminders and customer support.

  • Message frequency: varies based on your quote and booking activity.
  • Costs: message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.

  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
